There is said where you can found Chinatown in almost all the country in this earth. Well i said you will meet up with Chinatown Street in every state in Malaysia. No Doubt there is a Chinatown in Kuala Terengganu too. Obvious can see the local government had invest their time and money to preserve this street. I would quote this street as must visit tourist spot while you at Kuala Terengganu cause you can visual yourself the structure that exists before the war world II :) You will saw the Day & Night view here.
